Due to coronavirus and social distancing measures, from March 21st 2020 our restaurant will be temporarily closed until further notice.
Essington Style
The food served at the Essington Farm restaurant comes straight from our fields, through our kitchen and to your fork.
Our Head Chef here at Essington Farm creates a menu for every season, and all of our meals are made fresh from raw ingredients using our own high-quality farm produce, with other produce which is sourced locally when ours is not available. The majority of food we serve in the restaurant can be purchased in our farm shop, enabling you to truly enjoy a taste of Essington at home.
Opening Hours
Our 130 seat restaurant is open 9am to 4.30pm seven days a week. Breakfast is served from 9am to 11:30am Monday – Saturday and from 9am-11am on Sundays. From Midday until 3pm we offer hot lunches, salads and soups, all of which are made from scratch in our farm kitchens.
Essington Farm’s award-winning Afternoon Tea is also served from 2.30pm on weekdays and from 3:00pm on weekends. You can choose from our classic Essington Afternoon Tea, Gentleman’s Afternoon Tea and Children’s Afternoon Tea. Please note: afternoon tea is bookings only and bookings should be made at least 24 hours in advance. Please call 01902 735724 to make your booking.
On Sunday’s we serve a traditional Carvery with a selection of 3 meats, plus a vegetarian option and a selection of home-made sweets and puddings.
Table Reservations
For Sunday lunch and large parties we strongly recommend that you book as we are usually very busy and don’t want to disappoint. For afternoon tea, bookings are necessary with at least 24 hours notice.
Please call 01902 735 724 to reserve a table or book an afternoon tea.
We were proud to win the “Best use of Local Produce” at the Taste of Staffordshire Good Food Awards.
